McCullough was thrown from his vehicle.McCullough and the driver of the SUV were both hospitalized. According to KTLA 5, which did not identify him by name, the driver of the Mustang was transported with “life-threatening injuries” and has undergone several surgeries.It is not known if McCullough will face charges in the incident. A second driver reportedly fled the scene.During his time at Muir, McCullough was one of the top sprinters in the state. McCullough and Obea Moore led the Mustangs to a CIF State title in the 4×100 relay.
