FRISCO, Texas – Lamar University’s Jordan Hoy has been named the Southland Conference’s Offensive Player of the Week, while McNeese’s Colby Burton secured Defensive Player of the Week honors. Burton’s fellow Cowboy teammate, Gunnar Raborn has been dubbed the Special Teams Player of the Week. The league made the announcement Monday morning. The Rockwall, Texas native averaged more than 10 yards per carry, while completing 11 of 16 passes for 72 yards and a .688 completion percentage.
